Samsung P310

Samsung is getting closer and closer to truly making a credit card thin cell phone. The SGH-P310 or Card Phone II as they call it, is a mere 8.5mm in thickness. The phone is aimed at professionals, and is packed with a 2 megapixel camera, touch sensitive screen, mp3/aac player with 80MB of memory, bluetooth and an external microSD slot. How they managed to cram that all into this thin and sleek package is amazing.

The SGH-P310 will be launched to the European market in late September, followed by the Southeast Asian market in later October.

They just keep getting thinner. I can’t wait until the new OLED versions come out.

only thing i’m worried about is that they’ll get so thin that they’ll break easily. that or, i’ll lose it easily

Nice slim design, how I like it, easy to sit on though if you’re not careful. Everyday, another cellphone model goes in the obsolete bin.

I don’t like it. It’s too small. I understand the need for consumers to want to have things smaller and lighter, but when it comes to phones, there’s got to be a limit.

sexy. although samsung needs to improve it’s reception, their designs are superb. Samsung E900 is proof that it can beat out any competitor. and the credit card phone is proof of it’s ever advancing technology and designs.

    OMG! I GOT THE PHONE!
    ———————————————————
Well my dad bought it and he doesn like (so I guess It’ll be mine :D ), pretty cool, but tooo small a screen, has the standard Samsung interface (ofcourse that’s the new one like the D900). The wallet tops of as an extra battery!! now that is soo cool! when u keep it in the wallet u get a double battery indicator.. but I guess u found these things out already…

Anyways.. now for the BIG MINUS
touch screen???? thats CRAP! only the top 2 buttons (select and back) are touchscreen… and yeah u cant do anything by touching the screen anywheere else! oh yeah u might get annoyed with the touch screen on the 2 buttons … need to cover it wholly/try a few times!

Cam resolution is very good, u can click 2 pages of a book and read it painlessly,

u know the other features(or can find out)

and look closely at the numpad, the zero is at a odd location.

I didn get the rest of the pack yet, but it doesnt look like u get flexibilty with skins and displays…. sooooooooooo boring compared to the other phones that have soooo much flexibility.

I feel if u got cash to throw, take it, but if ur a slim freak and need loads a power options this is absolutely cool, slim and so much power is what’s attractive!

There needs to be a service Pack 1 to this! lol ciao.
