Does your back hurt when you wake up in the morning? If so, you may be sleeping in the wrong position. The best position for pain relief is to sleep on your side with a pillow between your knees, or if you can stand it, lie on your back with a pillow under your knees. Both methods will significantly decrease the pressure and weight on your lower back.
Sleep on a firm mattress that provides good support and avoid sleeping on your stomach, which places your back in an unnatural posture. If you do have to sleep on your stomach, avoid using a pillow for your head and place it under your abdomen instead.
Lower back pain from sleeping incorrectly is a common experience, but it doesn’t have to be.

Pigglet is so cute in the picture. :) I sleep on my stomach, usually wrapping my arms around the pillow, though its comfortable when you’re sleeping, it gives you pains in the morning. :(

I sleep on the floor all the time. I think the hard surface helps with body posture.

Or sometimes you do the ‘helicopter’ in bed. The night you sleep, you are in one spot, and then when you wake up you ended up in the other side of the bed.

Yeah, when you do the ‘helicopter’, you’re not just having a back ache, but the whole body ache.
