Popular Japanese idol, Aya Ueto has released her Jpop album, “License.” Aya Ueto started off as a popular photobook idol, then moved on to bigger things with a role on “Attention Please.” Now she’s back to her singing roots, and I think the fans are loving it! Her beauty and music reminds me of an early Ayumi. Check out the video for “Yume no Chikara”, which is one of the more popular songs on her new album.

Japan has just released their top rankings of TV commercial models. The study done by the CM Research Institute puts Aya Ueto on top, followed closely by Aya Matsuura and Yada Akiko . All three models belong to talent agency, SMAP, which has topped the overall talent category for the past nine years!

Aya Ueto stars in the smash hit manga, “Attack No. 1″, that spikes its way onto the TV screen for the first time! Aya Ueto plays the part of Kozue, a positive and cheerful high school girl who devotes her entire energy toward her school volleyball team.

Kozue will go through extreme practices designed by the strict head coach and face matches against the toughest players in the league. Tune into the series to find out if Kozue’s love towards volleyball has what it takes to win the championship.

Aya Ueto began her acting career in 2000 with a role in Namida wo Fuite. In 2001, she played a part in 3 Nen B Gumi Kinpachi Sensei, and her performance greatly boosted her popularity. She starred in several later dramas, including Koukou Kyoushi 2003, Hitonatsu no Papa e, and Aim for the Ace!. She also starred in Ryuhei Kitamura’s blockbuster Azumi and in its sequel, Azumi 2: Death or Love.
