BMW has released photos of their new F30 3 Series Sedan. The new 3 Series Sedan has grown in terms of dimensions. Particularly striking are its wider track and, as a result, more impressive on-the-road presence. The BMW 335i is a gift to six-in-line fans: the BMW TwinPower Turbo straight-six petrol engine with 3.0-litre displacement develops peak output of 225 kW/306 hp and maximum torque of 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) at just 1,200 rpm, ensuring that the new BMW 3 Series outstrips the performance of its predecessor, while undercutting its fuel consumption and emissions.

Under the bonnet of the new BMW M5 lies a newly developed, high-revving V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo (consisting of Twin Scroll Twin Turbo technology, a cross-bank exhaust manifold, High Precision Injection petrol direct injection and VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control), maximum output of 412 kW/560 hp at 6,000 – 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 680 Newton metres (502 lb-ft) between 1,500 and 5,750 rpm.
The instantaneous power delivery and sustained thrust familiar from M cars are the key to acceleration of 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds (0 – 200 km/h/124 mph: 13.0 seconds). Average fuel consumption in the EU test cycle stands at 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres / 28.5 mpg imp (CO2 emissions: 232 g/km). While output has increased by around 10 per cent and maximum torque is up by more than 30 per cent, the new BMW M5 burns over 30 per cent less fuel than its predecessor.
BMW has fully revealed pics of their 1-Series M Coupe today. Power comes from a 340 hp at 5,900 rpm inline six-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo and direct injection. BMW 1-Series M Coupe accelerates in 4.9 seconds from zero to 62 mph and reaches the 124-mph mark after 17.3 seconds. All power is transferred to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
BMW has published a new teaser video of the 1 Series M Coupe on m-power.com. Although they only partially unveiled the car, you can see a wider front fender and more aggressive front bumper compared to the non-M 1 series coupe.
The motorsport-derived GTRS3 M3 is the first of its kind in the Vorsteiner lineage. The commanding road presence and bold race car stance make its unmistakable presence known on the road and on the track.
The GTRS3 Aero Package consists of complete replacement carbon fiber front bumper with modular replacement splitter, extended front fenders, extended side skirts, rear quarter panel fender arch extensions, and a wide-stance rear bumper with integrated carbon diffuser.
The GTRS3 also comes with Vorsteiner’s latest concave twin 7-spoke forged 3-piece wheels, the V-308. Optional features include a stainless steal quad exhaust system, vented carbon fiber hood, and TRS lightweight boot lid.
Tami just got her Alpine White E92 M3 back from the shop. Freshly dropped on KW V3 coilovers and 20″ BBS LM’s. She has a few more mods to complete, and then I’ll borrow the car for a complete photo shoot. Stay tuned!
Starting in June 2010 BMW M Bikes will be available in a special limited edition at select BMW dealers and online at www.bmw-shop.com. The BMW M Bike is a spectacular combination of state-of-the-art technology and exclusive design. Disc brakes and an elegant matt anthracite frame with the M logo combine perfectly with the leather saddle, stunning rims and handles, and shiny red seat inlay. Characteristic of the entire M collection, which, like the BMW M model itself, stands for the extraordinary and unique.
The BMW Z4 GT3 is powered by a four-litre, eight-cylinder engine producing approximately 480 bhp. A six-speed sequential gearbox sends all of that power to the rear wheels. ABS and central-locking wheels are standard, and for consumers who want an extra touch of civilization, air conditioning is optional.
French automobile and motorcycle builder Lazareth has managed to shoehorn an entire BMW V12 engine into one of its crazy Wazuma quads. While there isn’t much that’s environmentally friendly about a 500-horsepower supercharged V12 from BMW that’s powering a rather large and impractical quad platform, Lazareth has decided to attempt to give the machine a bit of eco-cred by running the engine on E85.
Timothy “Tiff” Needell of Fifth Gear has the best job in the world. He gets to test drive and tear the living crap out of the most sought after sports cars for our viewing enjoyment.
In this latest video, Needell drives the car every auto enthusiast has been waiting for, the new BMW M3. The outgoing E46 M3 model which Tami drives, is one of Tiff’s all time favorites.
The new M3 is more powerful and boasts a ‘power’ button to make it even more aggressive. On paper all the indications are good, but there’s really only one way to find out for sure – put the man in the driving seat and let him floor the gas pedal.
BMW launched the E92 M3 on September 8th 2007 in the UK. Looking similar to the 335i BMW Coupe but with a new front air dam, quad exhaust pipes, an aggressive hood bulge, an M6 style carbon fibre-reinforced roof and vents on the front quarter panels reminiscent of the E46 M3.
The E92 M3 is powered by a 4.0 L V8 engine, instead of theinline-6 engine as used in the last generation E46 M3. While the E92 M3 resembles the regular E92 3 series, almost all the body panels are unique to the M3. The engine produces 420 hp at 8,300 rpm, and peak torque is 295 lb-ft at 3,900 rpm, which represents a power increase of 22% over the E46 M3.
The new V8 weighs 33 lbs less than the outgoing six cylinder for a total weight of 445 lbs. The styling follows the trend of slightly more aggressive M cars as started by the E60 M5. A six-speed manual transmission will be standard. While an SMG transmission was initially expected to be available as an option later, BMW is said to be planning the introduction of an all-new double-clutch gearbox, titled DCT, a year after the release of the E92 M3. It is predicted to be sold in the United States starting in the middle of 2008.
Chris Bangle, lead designer at BMW, has designed a sexy new four-door that is redefining the luxury sedan category. With his classic flame surfacing, rear end treatment, and ‘shark nose’ front end, this low slung beauty has some of the finest lines of any BMW ever created.
The CS is longer than the 7 Series at 200.8 inches, with a super-size 78-inch width and a 53.5 inch height. In other words, long, low and mean. It rides on typical giant concept wheels, 21-inchers for this car.
The four-door luxury Gran Turismo enters a new dimension of motoring in new style that will finally give the Mercedes-Benz CLS a worthy competitor.
