The Lexus LF-A ($375,000) is packing a 4.8-liter V-10 that brings a tune of 560 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. Lightweight titanium valves and connecting rods along with forged aluminum pistons, help the LF-A’s engine achieve its lofty 9,000rpm redline. Power is transmitted to a Torsen limited slip differential that splits torque between the back pair of 20-inch wheels.

The Lotus Exige Scura (€ 60.000) looks menacing with its matte black paint, contrasting gloss black stripes and carbon fiber highlights. It’s powered by the 260-hp version of the ubiquitous supercharged 4-cylinder and comes standard with launch control, traction control and 2-way adjustable Ohlins dampers.

And thanks to the prodigious amount of carbon fiber inside and out, this featherweight flyer drops another 10kg, allowing it to do the 0-60 sprint in 4 seconds flat. Only 35 will be built worldwide and none of them appear headed to the States unfortunately.

Hamann Motorsport have got their hands on a 2010 Ferrari California and has begun work on their aftermarket program for the car. They’ve started off with a slick aerodynamic kit aerodynamic kit that makes extensive use of carbon fiber.

The complete kit consists of a new hood, front spoiler, side skirts, a three-part rear diffuser, and a small rear wing. Other available components include Hamann’s lightweight forged wheels and a range of interior accessories. Engine and performance mods to come soon!

Images of Lamborghini’s new million-plus dollar Reventon Roadster have been leaked onto the net. Sporting the same stealth fighter-inspired angular bodywork as the standard Reventón that was unveiled two years ago at the same auto show, the new topless Lambo will reportedly make use of its all-wheel drive system to help the run to 60 in just 3.4 seconds. Top speed is expected to be well over 200 miles per hour, as you’d expect from an Italian supercar with a mid-mounted 650-horsepower V12 powerplant.

The Maserati GranCabrio, the first four-seater convertible in the Trident carmaker’s history, will make its world wide debut on September 15 at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The GranCabrio is powered by a 4.7 liter V8, 433 HP engine and is the convertible with the longest wheelbase on the market. The GranCabrio’s roof is strictly canvas-made, emphasizing the link with the Maserati tradition.

The engine featured in the new 911 GT3 RS delivers 15 bhp more than its counterpart in the 911 GT3, that is maximum output of 450 horse-power from the fast-revving naturally-aspirated power unit. This means specific output of more than 118 bhp per litre from the six-cylinder, an extremely high figure for natural-aspiration technology even in the strict-est worldwide comparison. And unlike many other high-performance engines, the power unit in the new 911 GT3 RS remains fully suitable for everyday use.

One day I’ll have enough money to buy toys like the limited edition Ferrari 599XX ($1.4 million). It’s powered by a V-12 engine producing 700 hp at an eye-popping 9,000 rpm. Ferrari says the 599XX features a “plethora of aerodynamic, electronic control and handling innovations used together for the first time on a single car, making this model a genuine technological laboratory.” Okay, sounds good to me. Now would you let me test drive one please?

It’s still in concept stage, but the 2009 300 SL Panamericana from Gullwing-America promises to update the original “with technology from 50 years later.” If built, it would have a 300 hp 4.4 liter V8 and five-speed ZF automatic transmission from BMW, while riding on 20×9.5 inch forged wheels. Cost would be around $150k.

Autoblog has gotten their hands on official pics of the upcoming Audi TT RS which premiers in Geneva next month.

Available in both coupe and cabriolet body styles, the TT RS gets aggressive front and rear fascias, slightly larger front air vents, LED driving lamps, twin-spoked alloy wheels and a fixed rear spoiler. Both are powered by a 340-horsepower, 331 lb-ft, 2.5-liter turbo five cylinder. No signs yet from Audi whether the TT RS will be available in the U.S.
