Actress and pop singer, Matsu Takako, will be releasing a brand new single this year. Born June 10, 1977 the star’s new song, “明かりの灯る方へ” (akari no tomoru hou he), will be the first single released under her new contract with BMG Japan.

Japanese actress and pop singer Matsu Takako will take on her next career challenge as the voice of a major character (a 10-year old boy) in the anime film “Brave Story”. The anime is based on a best-selling novel by Miyabe Miyuki. The film is set for release in July 2006 and is produced by FUJI TV, Gonzo Animation and Warner Bros. Japan.
