When Did Neiman Marcus Become a Tuner?

Neiman Marcus M6

Neiman Marcus parterned with BMW last month to create a unique set of 50 customized M6 convertibles. They were trimmed with a Piano Black finish and painted in Ruby Black. Each Neiman Marcus BMW M6 cost a total of $139,000. A base BMW M6 costs about $96k, so we’re talking over $40k in upgrades! When did paint cost $40k?!

Let’s add to the fact, that there were enough idiots that bought into this gimmick of owning a Neiman Marcus M6, that they sold all 50 convertibles in 92 seconds on Wednesday. Apparently, the phone lines for orders were jammed!

Someone please tell me, when did Neiman Marcus become a tuner? For $40k extra, I would’ve at least expected a set of diamond encrusted rims, a spankin’ supercharger, and a Hawaiian Tropic model waiting for me in the passenger seat.
