The nominations for the 2006 MTV awards set for June 8th in Culver City has begun. Chinese stars Stephen “God of Kung Fu Comedy” Chow will compete for Best Fight in “Kung Fu Hustle”. Chow’s dedication to pushing the technical limits of martial arts filming have won the eyes and laughter of many around the world. It’s also no surprise that international beauty and actress, Zhang Ziyi, has been nominated for MTV’s new category, “Sexiest Performance,” for her role in“Memoirs of a Geisha.”

Stephen Chow is back, and bigger and better than ever. Kung-Fu Hustle has devastated all previous box office records amidst one of the poorest years in Hong Kong cinema history.
