MTV Host Vanessa Minnillo is Leaving Total Request Live

MTV’s hottest VJ is moving on from Total Request Live for bigger and better things. She tells in her interview with People:

“I had my four years there like high school or college,” Minnillo, 26, said Tuesday at a benefit for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. “I’m ready for the next chapter – what it is, I have no idea. [But] I don’t want to be 48 saying, ‘Hey kids, now it’s Sean Preston Spears’s video.’ ”

I’m sure we’ll be seeing alot more of her on the big screen, now that her schedule isn’t being tied up doing interviews with music celebs. Her first appearance will be in the Fantastic Four sequel, “Rise of the Silver Surfer”, in theaters this summer. And it won’t be long before Hollywood realizes that Vanessa is a box office draw like Jessica Alba.

Vanessa is just so easy on the eyes, I’m sure the next chapter in her life will be even better than the last.

Vanessa Minnillo Plays a Real Life Ugly Betty

Vanessa Minnillo is one of the most successful American television personality’s on TV. Much of her success comes from the fact that she’s not only a great host, but she’s a delight to look at as well. I’m sure we all agree right? Vanessa has always been a champ when it comes to beauty, in 1998 she won the coveted Miss Teen USA Crown.

ET decided to place Vanessa undercover in a fat suit, braces and special effects makeup to see how “ugly” people were treated differently from “pretty” ones. The transformation turned her into a real-life Ugly Betty. The seven-part series, will place her on the streets of New York City, where hidden cameras will document the public’s reaction to the the “blonde bombshell Vanessa” and the “chubby girl-next-door Vanessa.”

She couldn’t believe the reactions she got from the public just for being overweight. While walking down the steps of a NYC subway in the ugly suit, a girl remarked “Who mugged your ‘do?” “I can’t do it, that girl was so mean,” Vanessa says. “It’s almost like an accepted form of discrimination because she can laugh at me, and that hurts.”
