Why would they do such a disservice to the original with the badly drawn animations, and CGI? What’s up with the terrible mixing of styles between the lions and humans?
With Thundercats, Speed Racer, and Voltron, the 80′s own the title of “The Most Badass Cartoons Ever Produced.” Voltron skyrocketted to the #1 cartoon spot when it was released in 1984, and created a merchandising frenzy in the toy industry. The original Voltron diecast metal set, “Godaikin Golion” by Bandai is going for $1000 these days on eBay! Luckily, I never opened mine as badly as I wanted to play with it. Take a trip down memory lane, and watch as the Voltron Force assembles into action.
