The Art of Shaving

I hate shaving, especially with the occasional nicks, cuts and razor burn that comes along with it. Using the right tools keeps these annoyances to a minimum or in some cases, eliminates them altogether. If you’re having a hard time coming up with the right combination of shaving products, try the Full Size Kit from The Art of Shaving.

Each kit includes the 4 Elements of The Perfect Shave – A pre-shave oil, shaving cream, after-shave balm, and a pure badger shaving brush.

The Art of Shaving has carefully combined aromatherapy-based products, handcrafted accessories and expert shaving technique to guarantee optimal shaving results while relieving and preventing ingrown hairs, razor burn, tough beard and sensitive skin.

I usually just use Gilette products but I’ll give this stuff a try when I run out. :)

Just in case you guys have no idea what you’re doing when it comes to “mowing the lawn”, there’s a pretty detailed article here.

Same here. I also use Gilette, since it’s the best a man can get :P haven’t had any cuts lately so no need for a kit like this one. Maybe if it were a present..

People shave in style ;P, I’ll just stick with Schick, no need to get all rich here. If I don’t have the manual shaver, just go for the electric if I’m in a rush for school.

Electric shavers just don’t give a close enough shave. :(

Have to go over the skin a few times to really shave off the hairs, couple minutes, but preferably, I would want to use the manual. You guys find a difference in using higher number of blades? or 3-4 is good enough for you?

Looking Old Style…neat…old is new…vintage looking, especially the shaving brush…old is cool because of its colour. Another word from a good critic./////Seems shaving is more fun than clipping your toenails.

  • Dexter Kanuto

Old is new…vintage is vintage,.,.,.I like it.

I like to do everything at its best. An espresso has to be made correctly, tea must be poured nicely..

And now, ever since I’ve read about the art of shaving, it makes me detest my Gilette.. Buying the kit seems to be all I can think about right now.
