Lobel's Wagyu Steak

For five generations, the Lobels have been purveyors of fine meats dedicated to the highest standards of quality and personal service. These standards have made their butcher shop an institution in New York City, where the family’s Upper East Side store enjoys a devoted clientele comprised of celebrities, prominent business executives, and others who value the highest quality prime meats and attentive service.

So what’s the best steak money can buy you ask? It’s called the Wagyu Dry-Aged Bone-In Strip Steak. Not only is it American Wagyu, it’s dry-aged American Wagyu – on the bone – for extra flavor and extra drama. Wagyu are Japanese Cattle renowned for their flavor, tenderness, and fatty well-marbled texture, qualities enhanced by the traditional and well guarded methods of raising Kobe beef.

A 14oz. version of this Wagyu Steak will cost you close to $100.00, but for the steak connoisseur, it’s well worth the price! For those outside of New York City, Lobel’s will have FedEx ship it straight to your doorsteps.

$100 isn’t hard to believe. I just had a steak dinner at Ruth Chris steakhouse. It was about $50/person for new york steak and filet mignon. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Good beef costs money people! Learn to LIVE IT UP! :D

I’m surprised that best in the world is only $100 a piece, given the i-banking clientèle that frequent steakhouses.

Wagyu beef if you know how it’s prepared then you’d know why.

first it’s massaged with sake for 1-2 hours a day, they drink beer kirin ichiban asahi and sapporro beer. they’re fed the best grains and wheat. i never thought i’d ever think about paying $9 an ounce, but after trying it once you’ll understand why. =)

i’ll pay it shit i said it :)
