Is your man not doing his fair share of household duties? Kick him into chore mode by giving him tools that’ll make things seem like play instead of work.
Get Him to Cook
Most guys aren’t culinary chefs, but we can hold our own when it comes to BBQ’ing. It’s part of the little boy in us that loves to play with fire!
What to Buy: Napoleon makes some of the best grills on the market. The Ultra Chef Series are their lower priced units that you can pick up for under $500. Ultra Chefs feature large cooking areas that heat up to 45,000 BTU’s.
Get Him to Vacuum the House
Vacuuming is boring and hard labor, so give us a machine that’ll scare the living crap out of dust and debris.
What to Buy: Not only does the Dyson DC21 look like something that came from the movie Aliens, it has the power to suck your face off! He’ll have so much joy with this vacuum that your house, apartment, car, dog, child, will never be cleaner.
Get Him to Do the Laundry
If you can turn the laundry machine into a time saving electronic gadget, we’ll have no choice but to want to use it.
What to Buy: The LG Washer/Dryer combo (Model 3431) will turn two daunting tasks into one.

I have a feeling if I buy my man any of these items, they’ll just sit there and collect dust. :p

are we honestly saying doing laundry will be fun with ANY kind of washer/dryer combo?
perhaps someone should have researched hacking the nintendo Wii Remote to control your vacuum like a toy race car or something, too.
not much thought put into this one.

I can cook without a grill!!! As for the vaccum, id actually vaccum my place if it was light, i hate using bulky vaccums which becomes a pain to carry around the house to use.

As an only child I grew up doing my own chores, however, I wouldn’t mind the cool electronics!

Adding a bit of fun to the work, I’d say work with your spouse so both of you get can things done faster and you can play while you’re at it. ;)

From my experience last serious relationship, i was the one that cooked, clean, and did the laundry on a regular basis.
I did these things cause i know how to cook from the restaurant business, clean cause i couldn’t stand coming home to a dirty apartment, and cause i needed clean clothes to wear (i had a lot less clothes than her).
Only when i was working 50+ hours a week did she do the chores(not well either).

Not all men needs to be motivated by gadgets. I know of a few who would actively help out at home, no coaxing required!

I don’t see how doing housework is so hard. If you can get him to cook or clean a few times, he’ll see that it’s pretty relaxing. Now the main problem, as I see it, is that you might be worried he won’t do his chores WELL. I mean, cooking is pretty fun, but it does take some skill to do it right. Laundry and cleaning too - wiping down the window isn’t so bad, but it isn’t as straightforward as it looks.

Yea, i used to think laundry was easy till my ex shrank an old t-shirt to a kid’s size shirt after one wash… but i guess that takes some talent >_>

I do chores, if not my girlfriend will dump me. And besides, men should do the hard stuff.
