Women's Ultramega

In a perfect world, people would eat healthy, nutritious foods rich in vitamins and minerals. Unfortunately, living in America — junk food capital of the world — it’s a bit difficult when you see a McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, or Jack in a Box at every other corner. Fast food places make it really hard for people to meet their nutritional needs.

I have come to a late realization that health is very important. I started this routine of going to the gym and working out three to four times a week. In addition, I am finding out a key component in losing weight and staying healthy is by having a well balanced diet.

Even though I try my best to eat a well balanced diet, I feel I am still lacking the essential vitamins to keep me healthy. It’s just near impossible to stuff five apples, three cups of brocolli, and two oranges everyday into my tiny little tummy.

Instead, I found a women’s multivitamin that I will be starting to take this coming week once it arrives in the mail. The formula contains a ton of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals such as Calcium for bone health, and Iron that women tend to lack, due to menstruation and inadequate consumption of iron-rich foods.

Be prepared for the size of the pill though… it truly is a Ultra Mega. I don’t know how I will be able to swallow it! Any tips?

If you’re hardcore calorie burner, I don’t think 5 apples, 3 cups of brocolli and two oranges in one day isn’t that much, unless you mean every meal. Since I was a kid, use to take Flintstone’s kid’s multivitamins, but now, don’t take any thing, rarely centrum pills either.

I have a hard time swallowing big pills too. You can buy a pill cutter for like $5-10 that splits them in half. Any drug store should carry them.

I had never had problems swollening big pills. Maybe you can bite it then drink a cup of water really fast. But yes, I find that its really had to have a healthy diet, especially if your in school, cause I buy my lunch from a food court, how healthy can the food be. I try to eat as much fruits and vegitables when im home to make up for it.

It’s all about motivation and getting yourself to start the workout. Once you get passed that you’ll be glad you did it. I was never a big fan or large pills either, but I find it easy to swallow when i take the water in and let the pill sink towards the back of my throat and then swallow. If not then cutting it in half works out too.

Actually I know what pills you are talking about, Its GNC green ones… I was taking them, well for awhile. the directions say swollow 3 pills a day!!! I couldent do it, and I was burping up nasty vitamin flavor and they were just too bog to get down. I now take Trader Joes multivitamin for women, much easier to swollow and its one a day. I recommend those over the ultra mega caca vitamins.

Nice choice of a post picture. I clicked on Kineda mindlessly after some period of boredom. Saw the delicious picture and clicked in excitement. Oh, it’s about multivitamin pills? Yuck.

If you can’t swallow the pills (I can’t!) then try a liquid. There are a couple of really good ones out there including one just for women with extra calcium. This is where I get them: multi-liquid or vita complete.
The taste is not too bad and you can mix it with juice or something else to drink.

Dexter, Terry already stated that he already exercises, the pill only acts to give more vitamins into to the body. “antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals such as Calcium for bone health”

A Simple Way To Swallow Big Pills:
we can simply crush the pill – do so by placing the pill inbetween 2 table spoons and pressing the spoons together. That should break the pill into a few smaller pieces. simply swallow the pill pieces with water then.

First of all….it’s great that you are going to the gym that many times. Hope you stick with it. As far as vitamins are concerned….there are plenty of them at your local walgreens or even in the gym. It’s also a good idea to read the label to see if the vitamins you are taking have the time release capability. If it does, you shouldn’t cut it in half or crush it. This will enable your body to absorb the vitamins or flush it as soon as it gets in your system (not what you want). You will half to suck it up and swallow…sorry.

Ah ok. Then do liquids since they can sip into your body quickly.
