Tokyoflash is selling the “World’s Smallest LED Wristwatch,” made by Saishin Retsu. The watch measures 25mm x 30mm x 8mm, and has a unique way of telling time. LEDs race up and down the face, stopping on the appropiate numbers to display the time. A great conversation starter at a party, or just another way to look like a complete nerd!

the ways to tell time are very limited. i love seeing new ways of telling time. this LED watch is a good example of what time can do. and how, creating new ways of telling time is harder than it looks.
look like a nerd? … i say look like you’re from the future. haha

that’s pretty amazing. there’s also watches and clocks that are in binary for you programming gurus out there.

That watch sucks. I don’t to stand there waiting, they should just make a regular digital watch with flashing lights like Knight Rider… now that would be cool!

For the price you would be buying it, I doubt it. Idea is nice, but the price tag can be lowered but thats just imo.

watches are on the decline since cellphones arrived since both are competitor goods. why carry a watch if you have one in your phone? the reason for most people to wear watches is because it is a fashion accessory/ utility. i guess this watch just proves this point. time never looked so good!

Just because the animated GIF shows it going slow doesn’t mean the actual watch does. If the LED’s were faster and I knew that for sure, I’d be a buyer!

Time is going fast as usual. The watch should take a ’split-eye’ glimpse to tell time. Don’t blink because hell it’s gonna b damn way slow.
