Hilary and Yuna Ito

Yuna Ito and Hilary Duff showed up on Tokyo’s Shibuya TOKYO FM radio show, “Wonderful World” to promote Disney Mobile. It was the first time the two ever met face to face, and they hit it off quite well. After the show, Yuna took HIlary on a shopping spree as well as a more traditional tour of the Kyoto temples.

I’ve never heard of Yuna. Is she a popular singer? Any links to her songs?

She is popular. You can find some of her songs at a Japanese music review blog called “Beyond the Sea” (google for it, should be top 5 of the results).

Mahaloha!! Thats my favorite track from Yuna Ito. You should add her duet with Celine Dion, that was pretty good too. It would be sick if HD and Yuna do a duet together. like one in Japanese and one in English. That would really make some crazy money and promote the East-West culture clash, though things have really changed for Asians in media in a positive direction over the past few years.

Yeah, she’s pretty popular. I’ve got a couple of her CDs…she’s also in a movie titled “NANA” although it’s a minor role.

Yuna Ito is actually very good. I have 2 of her albums. You should search “Endless Story”, thats one of her very popular songs that was also featured in the movie NANA. I’d recommend her HEART album, it’s really good. I also believe she has perfect english.

Yeah, she’s fluent in English. She was born in Hawaii and it’s her 1st language.

…I meant she grew up and went to High School in Hawaii, was born in LA.

I love it when American and Asian celebrities collaborate. It’s really nice to see different ethnics work together.

And Yuna Ito is honestly amazing.
